A bold fusion of contemporary dance and physical theatre, Infusion takes a tour-de-force look at the backwards puzzle pieces of the life of a prostituted woman. Based on survivor stories and documentation, Infusion tackles human trafficking for sexual exploitation, and finds a surprise culprit. Infusion was pleased to offer physical theatre track as a part of the Ad Deum Dance Company summer intensive in Biel, Switzerland. Students of all levels from across Europe gathered to dance and mime, filling the afternoon elective track of physical theatre with 8-20 students every day. Exploring movement concepts such as transfer of weights, statues, creatures, characters the students helped develop presentations to share at the end of the week. Their works explored ideas of war, peace, famine, shipwreck, and rescue. Compelling stories told through the body.

The week finished with a double bill performance by Infusion and Ad Deum, celebrating beauty, sacrifice, joy, lament, freedom, and yearning.

Follow this Infusion teamed up with Swiss mime duo Artbeat, for an evening of antics and improve in a the beautiful city of Thun. Audience suggestions helped tell the story of Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Dragon, like you’ve never seen it before!

Event Launch

Help us launch our new anti-human trafficking initiative titled Just Sex through our Eventbrite page:

We have a brilliant team of dancers, mimes, composer and lighting/sound designer committed to making this project happen. But we need people to get behind us, and get this important show out of the rehearsal studio, and off the page,  and into the minds and hearts of people across England. We also hope to tour internationallty in the future.

Will you be one of our partners, to make this vision come to life?

Project Dance Paris 2017

July 21-23, Infusion returns to the Capitol of Love with the Project Dance Foundation to bring hope and inspiration through offerings of dance and physical theatre. With special performances Friday; outdoor, all-day, free dance show in the Place de la Republique, Saturday; and master class offerings on Sunday for registrants, Project Dance Paris promises to be a weekend of artistic excellence and generosity.

This year’s free, open-air performance will be in the Place de la Republique Saturday July 22nd.

The previous year’s event came on the heels of the multiple terror attacks in France, and dancers were able to share, both from the stage, and personally with members of the public–representing many faiths and backgrounds–about hope, healing, and freedom through Jesus Christ.  One Parisian noted, “In this place, normally all you hear is people protesting. Today, everyone is so joyful–it’s a powerful statement!”
