February 6th-9th, 2024, the Royal Academy of Dance is sharing it s space with E33 Dance Company.
Assistant director for E33, Infusion’s Dan Cossette will lead the 4 days of choreography R&D. As the RAD’s community engagement seeks to support local dance artists/companies, E33 will offer FREE company class to professional and pre-professional dancers each day 9am-10:30am Tuesday-Friday. Company classes will explore American Modern Graham and Limon foundations, contemporary dance styles and physical theatre.

Mr. Cossette will use the R&D to explore the physiological and psychological intersection of brain/bio chemistry of reflected in the Three Systems model of emotional regulation: threat, drive, and soothe.
At the end of the week there will be a choreography sharing for industry professionals, theatre programmers and community leaders. Contact us to reserve you places. Friday 9th Feb, 4pm-4:45pm.

Where chemistry, dance and life intersect…
Dive into the brain chemistry for an off-balance and emotive exploration of the three modes of emotional regulation: threat, drive, soothe. With grace and athleticism Soothe looks at the adrenaline, dopamine, and oxytocin that push, pull and drag us through life. This 4-cast ensemble brings to life the movement of mental well-being in a thoughtful and rambunctious examination of the psychological systems that make us tick. With this new contemporary dance theatre work, award winning Infusion Physical Theatre weaves together non-traditional partnering and original music to follow the cravings of a post-lockdown society eager for recovery.

June means Wandsworth Arts Fringe, and another chance to dance in London with sister-company E33. Dan Cossette will be appearing in their newest work: Lifecycles. New choreographers Holly Wilmot and Liezl Wouters-d’Oplinter (both Infusion ‘casties’) are launching fantastic works, pondering light, life, and seasons.

Join us for a special 4-class mime/physical theatre workshop in the month of February!

We’re eager to get back into shape, and making dances for the new year! (Watch this space because we’re also looking to re-launch our sell-out success Dance and Mime Café… so come get involved! We’ll let you know when rehearsals will start!)
The price for September will be £35 (paid in advance) £10 drop-in.
As usual the classes are open to all levels, beginners are welcome. The level will be our usual Intermediate level to help beginners grow, and give experienced dancers a good workout.
